Trained at the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, I am a Holistic Health Coach and Peer Supporter. I use motivational interviewing and character strengths-based interventions in my coaching to help you connect with your reasons for change and better leverage your abilities.
My Story
Thanks to my village of friends and family, my tenacity, willingness to self-advocate and ask big questions, I am pleased to say that I have achieved the impossible: an escape from chaos and an invitation to reimagine my entire experience! I was labeled to fail with an SMI diagnosis right out of high school. I had lots of misadventures in my life, from grooming and sexual abuse to trafficking, intimate partner violence, and wild postpartum health challenges. I eventually had a care team that looked at my body and mind holistically and offered me functional diagnostic testing, which revealed microscopic biological reasons for the struggles I had with mood and chronic suicidal ideation.
Armed with new information in 2019, I set out to recover on my terms. It has been such a beautiful process of unlearning and relearning how to inhabit my life more adaptively.
I have overcome incredible odds, and now I aim to empower you to do the same!
